I was recently having an extended email conversation with someone who God has put in the same situation as myself for the last few years. The conversation was about the scary reality of being required by God to live with no job and yet having bills piling up that you can’t pay. What I’m talking about here is something the modern day church does not practice or preach and does not understand (paradoxically).
What I’m going to do here is summarize the reasons why God put me in that situation and tell all that has taken place since 2015 when He used circumstances to push me out of my past career. Hopefully, by the time I’m done here, you will see that this “ancient process” is one of the most sensible things you could ever do, if God required you to follow this same path as I and some others have.
Seeking First (Not A Job)…
In order to begin this discussion, I really need to put this entire topic into the correct context. In order to do that, I need you to begin by asking the right questions about what you see around you on a daily basis and questioning things you may never have questioned before.
We take so many things for granted and casually accept things that allow us to have the easy way out of finding out what we were put here for. As I discovered myself, we go through decades of our lives with excuses, exceptions and rationalizations for why we accept things that we have no business agreeing with.
I’ve said this before but it bears repeating – our first calling in this life was NOT to seek first a career and a job to pay our bills. Some of those bills are necessary but others are burdens we took on because “that’s what the modern life requires us to have”. From my experience, there are things you can live without including: a car, cell phone service, a nice place to live in, tv and internet service, the ability to go to a grocery store and buy whatever you want (among many other things). Again, from my experience, you CAN live without all those things at least for a time.
Why Give Up Everything…?!
I had to go through all the above for a rather long time and none of it was pleasant. Coming from a career where I made enough money to have whatever I wanted (as a middle-class standard of living), going down to zero was extremely difficult. Being forced to live in someone else’s house (more than once), and even with people I had a very hard time being around was not something I ever felt I needed to experience. Living with all my independence taken away (especially for me) was beyond extremely difficult.
But the real question here is – WHY would anyone do all this??
For me, the reason is very simple: I knew something BIG was missing from my life and I was determined to take the path least chosen to get it. I was not going to waste another year of my life doing things that were never going to get me to fulfill God’s highest purpose for my life. I had already lived for decades wandering around not knowing what God had put me here for. I did literally what is written in the verse below and found out that this is NOT an allegory but a LITERAL pattern to repeat in our times right now…
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Rather than restate my last decade again, let me point you to an ebook I wrote (bottom) where I explained what is required to discover and fulfill God’s plan for your life. What I’d like to do now is explain some of what I learned since I went down this very unpopular path and how it has transformed me.
The Ancient Process Produces Results
When I decided not to look for another job or career path after my previous career ended, it was because I knew there were things God had made available to all of us but, the problem was that I had none of them. I had spent decades believing the comfortable lies that churches told me that there was no such thing as the supernatural. No dreams, no miracles, no prophetic gifts and… no sonship, no brain resurrections, no knowledge of witty inventions, etc. Not to even mention that we could get back more than what Adam and Eve lost in the Garden of Eden.
Until you correctly answer the question of WHY you would give up everything, you will never do it. And you will never receive all that God made available to any of us who would go through the horrible process of training in order to get it. This process is the “ancient way” that is all throughout the Bible but, as I alluded to above, the modern day church knows nothing of it.
When I started down this road, all the church people I knew looked at me as if something was VERY wrong. Well… they were right! But they incorrectly identified what was wrong. It was not the path God put me on that was wrong but, the path they had been taught by their churches that produced nothing in their lives and did nothing to change the world.
When you go through God’s ancient process, you will find yourself in a multi-year long wilderness period where every single one of your character flaws is exposed. God does this to us because we must see and deal with all the evil and hidden wickedness in our hearts. Without this exposure, we have no idea how close we are to repeating the same pattern of Lucifer.
When you come into what I call “marvelic” supernatural abilities, or God gives you a very high position in business with massive amounts of wealth, you have no idea how much pride you have, and it will destroy you unless you deal with it before you get all these things. I found out myself how horrible we all are, and in ways we had no idea was hiding down there in our own personal “basement”. The only way to get us prepared for a high calling is to FIRST make sure our own foundation is strong.
As I learned from my spiritual father (David E. Taylor), we are made of dirt, and just like the Earth, we have fault lines hidden deep under our surface. When the right circumstances arise, we experience a personal earthquake, just the same as our planet.
Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

This ancient process is uniquely designed by God for each of us and it is intended to expose and correct everything that will otherwise destroy us in the future. But, there is more to it… I’m dealing with the negatives here but there is also a positive! When you are required by God to go down to nothing, you now have the opportunity to develop something that has been a mystery to the church for thousands of years. This is a mystery I have spoken about many times since I began learning it myself. It is the mystery of “atomic faith”.
Atomic Faith Requires Development
If you’ve been following my blogs, you may be familiar with this term “atomic faith”. In short, it is what Jesus was trying to teach His disciples many times but, they were slow to catch on (as has been the church). Faith is a lot more than what we have learned in our churches. It has the power to move things literally and physically just like we see in movies. But because we have been taught that the entire Bible is nothing more than allegory and symbolisms, we have missed the entire point of what Jesus taught.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

What I discovered in my process is that developing this kind of faith requires that we be put in extreme circumstances. When I first was challenged by lack of resources, I had major mind wars that really proved how little faith I really had. Rather than have a peace and confidence that all the things I needed would be added, I got angry, confused, scared, double minded and all the rest. Not having gas or food money or not knowing where I was going to live in 2 days put me into a severe mental crisis. This is NOT faith!! And it is definitely NOT atomic faith!!
So what did I learn during these times? Believe me, this experience was very long lasting. It was not a one day crisis that was over in 24 hours. NO, I had to endure this for a very long time. And from that experience, I can say that for most westerners like myself, especially with college degrees and having lived without the need for any faith, developing this atomic faith is extremely difficult.
I actually felt it was completely impossible for me to ever achieve any of this. But, the more I took time to change my thinking according to what Jesus taught, the more I began to see my confidence rise and my trust that God would provide what I needed even if it came at the last minute.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Surprisingly, I began to notice that is exactly what happened! There were times when I was down to zero, having put the last $2.67 in the gas tank, and one minute after I put the pump back, someone sent me $100. This sort of thing happened several times and eventually, it began to seem normal to me.
I was doing exactly what the Bible says – we must “renew” our mind and be “transformed” in such ways that we no longer focus on lack because we know that God is going to provide. Again, I must reiterate that the prerequisites for this kind of provision is that we do exactly as Jesus said in Matthew 6:33. Provision is based on us having our priorities right, not by going out on our own plan for our lives.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It’s Bigger Than You Have Been Told
Admittedly, I’m trying to answer a huge question in just a single blog and it cannot be done. I’m trying to give a glimpse of why anyone would go through a process like I’m very briefly describing here. Because this is such a huge subject, I wrote 2 ebooks that each deal with certain aspects of this. One of those is below, the other deals with “marvelic abilities” and can be found on my store page.
In those ebooks I go into detail to explain why this process above is mandatory if you ever want to receive from God all that He made available to us. It is extremely difficult and will go against everything in our “modern day” lifestyles and what the church teaches. If you want marvels and atomic faith and things that the imagination cannot even fathom, this is the only way to get there.
There is not one way for those in the Bible thousands of years ago but a different way for us now. No. There is only ONE WAY. This ancient process I’m describing is the way to get there, “this is THE way”, it is the ONLY way.
I hope this has helped a few who have been watching from a distance and wondering why I chose to give up everything and go down a path that only one ministry on the planet correctly teaches!
