Prophetic Number Sequence In A License Plate & The Meaning Of 2023

It’s nearing the end of 2023 and a few weeks ago, I finally had the thought to consider how the meaning of #23 played out in how this year went for me. I don’t know about you but, if your year was anything like mine, this blog will help to put some things into perspective. Along with that, I finally figured out a strange number sequence in my car license plate, which I acquired one full year ago. If you’ve never paid attention to number sequences like your phone number, address, bank account ID cards, date of birth, this blog should help you start noticing what the meaning is and why God might speak to you by the use of signs like this.

Prophetic Numbers? (Yes, It’s Biblical)

Before we get started, and especially for those who are unfamiliar with this subject of the prophetic meaning of numbers, let’s go straight to the most obvious signpost right in the Bible. I don’t know if you have considered this but, in the first 5 books of the Bible, there is an entire book called “Numbers” and, yes, it is filled with them! Along with that, in many of the other books in the Bible, numbers appear often, even in ways the casual reader totally overlooks.

To drive home the point even more, there is even a passage in the Bible where it explicitly says that there is wisdom connected to the understanding of the meaning of a number…

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Revelation 13:18 (KJV)

Way back in 2000, I learned from a Bible Scholar named Chuck Missler that every detail in the Bible is significant and, it was written (inspired by the Holy Spirit) in such a way that there are extreme levels of detail that require someone with an engineering or mathematical mindset to pick out. Rather than go into that level of detail here in this blog post, let me just recommend you go look up the resources by Chuck Missler and see for yourself. I might recommend starting with one titled, “How We Got Our Bible” which is how I got my own eye opening to how detailed God is and how He is in fact, the original engineer and mathematician.

Subsequently to the above, I recommend going to a free online resource by Stephen E. Jones titled, “The Biblical Meaning of Numbers From One To Forty“. In this ebook, you can see how each of the numbers from 1 – 40 are explained in-depth using a proper method for Biblical interpretation. In addition to that, you can also go to the book, “The Divinity Code to Understanding your Dreams and Visions” by Adrian Beale and Adam F Thompson where they include the meaning of numbers along with a very extensive list of dream symbols with multiple Bible references for each.

With that basic introduction on the reality of the Biblical prophetic meaning of numbers, let’s get to the main point of this blog today – recent examples of numeric sequences in a license plate and the meaning of #23 for this past year, 2023.

A Strange License Plate (Un-)Sequence

A year ago, I got a new license plate with a strange numerical sequence that made no sense until now. The numbers were 3421. If you look at that, there’s an obvious interruption in what would otherwise be a normal countdown sequence. Had it been 4321 (or just 321) that would have made sense and would have been very good. But this 3421 had something out of order and, as I say, an interruption to an otherwise perfect sequence as in the counting down of a “launch”.

It is now the 11th month of the year on the western calendar (November) and just a couple days ago I suddenly realized what this un-sequence meant. Not surprisingly, the meaning of those numbers perfectly aligned with the meaning of #23 as you will see below. In order to explain the personal meaning of this sequence, let me go straight to the single number that is “out of order” on the license plate: #4.

When I first began studying the Biblical meaning of numbers (about 10 years ago), I initially learned all the positive meanings of #4. I had seen that number pop up a many times and most of the meanings were positive. As such, I ignored any negative meaning. When you begin learning about Biblical dream symbols and numbers, you have to realize that most of them have both positive and negative interpretations. Well, it was not until a couple days ago that I decided to go back and look up the negative meanings for #4. When I did, I was very surprised to find how perfectly they fit regarding this past year went for me.

Here are the negative meanings for #4, which you can find using the JMMI free online dream symbols list for numbers: “division, something that is lost, pride, oppression, or affliction.” You can also see how similar this is in Beale and Thompson’s book quoted below…

Four: … (6) Earthly effort or flesh; (7) World (especially city); (8) Division; (9) Not enough; (10) Not known; (11) Not bearable

In my recent blog and podcast explanations of what God has been doing all this year with me, I commented how I experienced a very harsh wilderness situation, and that it was intended by God the purpose of character development. By the time you finish reading this blog, you will see how these numbers all prophetically spoke in advance about what was going to happen with me.

An Uncomfortably Accurate Numeric Meaning Of This Year (In Retrospect)

When you look up the meaning of #23, the first place you might look is to Psalm 23. In the reading of that passage, you find that the middle of it has the phrase, “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death”. That is obviously not a very positive description and putting it into a personal context, that can be like going through a time of a personal death. I’ve recently spoken about a personal wilderness in my blogs and podcasts as a mandatory part of God’s ancient training process…

In the ebook I linked above, Stephen E. Jones says how the meaning of 23 is “death and resurrection life”. If you take the #23 and look at it as a sequence, each number (2 followed by 3) agrees with that. #2 can mean separation, division, opposition and death. #3 can mean resurrection and divine order. When you put those in the order of 2, followed by 3, you get the perfect illustration of a death followed by resurrection.

Many years ago, I came across a book by Bill Weise titled, “23 Minutes In Hell” where he also referred to the meaning of #23 in the same way. God chose to send Weise to Hell (literally), for 23 minutes, and while down there, he experienced the fullness of how horrifying Hell really is. One of the primary reasons he was sent there was because of how many people no longer believe in Hell. There are many false churches and false preachers teaching that Hell does not exist and leading all their followers directly there for eternity.

Here’s the thing to remember regarding the meaning of this number as it relates to my own life example… Despite the horrid negative in the middle of Psalm 23, there is a positive ending! After you get through the “valley of death”, you end at the part where it says “Thou preparest a table before me”, and “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”. So even the overall pattern in that Psalm shows a personal death followed by something very good – a promised land both here and in eternity.

Death Precedes Life & A Countdown Precedes A Launch

So, with that context, how did the year 2023 go for me?? Well, more or less exactly like the above meaning of this number. It was a horrible time of a personal death (in many ways) and an extreme wilderness experience where I and others experienced a severe lack of resources and barely had enough to survive on a daily basis. When you add the meaning of #23 with the meaning of my odd un-sequence in the license plate numbers, you see how God was using multiple numbers to all say the same thing in advance regarding how this entire year was going to go.

What I’ve also noticed in the past several years is, many times, God will give us a huge clue right in the beginning of a time like this but, He hides the meaning until that time is over. Now that the end of 2023 is here, I have begun noticing my dreams are now showing many things I’ve waited for are about to happen. My dreams for the last few weeks show a sudden change from a wilderness to a promised land.

Those dreams include things like: suddenly getting a new iPhone, being the copilot of a private jet getting ready to take off, watching a sudden fast flyby of a rapidly turning airline jet, money appearing suddenly, and a tour of a very nice upscale house. In short, the season of death is about over and the time of rapid personal launch is coming soon!

Action Step For You – Keep Your Eyes Open!

The real takeaway here is, as I said at the top, don’t overlook the prophetic meaning of numbers in your life – in all the places where they may appear! Just as in the Bible, God uses numbers to give prophetic signs hinting at a personal message for us. Here are places where you can start looking for repeating numbers and sequences: license plates, phone numbers, ID card numbers, date of birth, clocks, calendars, etc.

God speaks in many ways, and in order to see and recognize these many various methods of communication, we must be HUMBLE. God uses meekness and subtlety when He speaks to us and we must learn to get out of the flesh and into the spirit in order to recognize and receive what He is saying. The more you practice this, the more you will start to see how these really do line up with what is going on in your life – whether good or bad.
