Responding Properly To Dreams Containing Instructions, Guidance & Warnings For Your Business Success

By now, you might have noticed that one of the more common themes in my blogs is dreams that deal with your calling and future success. Within that category are dreams where God is giving you guidance for a business, should you be either a CEO, manager or simply any form of employee. One of the most important things to remember about dreams is how to respond properly so that a negative outcome is avoided or a positive one is manifested. In this blog, I will give you an example of a dream where I received a warning about a situation with my upcoming invention business and a few thoughts about how I plan to make sure the negative outcome is avoided.

Dreams: God’s Plan For Your Success!

Before we get started, we need to set the stage for this discussion by stating that in the Bible, there are many examples of passages that tell how God‘s plans for us are always positive. However, in order for those positive outcomes to play out in real life, there are certain things we must do ourselves based on what God is showing us.

To prove what I’m saying, the Hebrew word “dream” means, “to make plump; to be in good liking, recover; to be healthy and strong” (from the root word): h2492. ḥâlam). What this means is, anytime God is speaking to you in dreams, it means he is trying to make you successful, even if the dream contains something negative or a personal warning.

For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
Job 33:14-16 (KJV)

Never dishonor (to esteem lightly) the dreams that God is giving you! Do not brush them off and do not have an overly casual attitude about them. Always express your appreciation to God, as often as you think of it, for the dreams He gives you and always ask him for more!

Regardless of what position in a company or ministry you may hold, God is going to speak to you about what’s going on there. The Bible clearly contains examples of how God’s plans are always for your success and dreams are one of the top ways He will communicate with you to achieve this outcome.

With that introduction out of the way, let’s get to the new dream and how to properly respond to warnings from God…

Dream: An External Hostile Takeover

February 5, 2024 – I’m in a very crowded room with too many people. It’s a big meeting at my company but no one acts like they know I’m in charge. They totally ignore me and there’s all these competing interests and commotion going on amongst various different groups of people. I’m trying to get everyone’s attention but it’s not working.

Interpretation: Since this dream was so short, and the meaning is very straightforward, there isn’t a need to breakdown all the primary symbols as I normally do. After considering the message for a few days, I came to realize that this was primarily a warning about how external organizations will try to dishonor and run over me in order to attempt to take control of my invention business.

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

If you’ve been following what I’ve been posting here about my invention, it’s very obvious why people would be tempted to overstep their boundaries and do such an evil and prideful thing. Truth be told, this is not the first warning dream showing me what some people are going to try to do to my company when they find out what this invention can, and will do.

Responding To Warning Dreams

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Probably the best starting point for discussing the proper way to respond to a warning in a dream is that passage above. When the wisemen were warned not to go back to tell Herod where the baby Jesus was, they did NOT pray the dream away or just “hope” it wouldn’t happen. NO!! As it says in that passage, they took immediate prompt action to avoid a negative outcome.

This is what you must also do when God warns you of a coming disaster. Some dreams CAN be prayed away but from my experience, at least half of them require a deliberate ACTION on our part. In cases where you must take action, the best place to start is by asking God for wisdom and instructions in order to figure out the best course of action. You have to remember that even Jesus occasionally had to RUN away from people who tried to kill Him!!

Sometimes the proper response is to do exactly as He did. Get yourself out of the situation your dream showed you or don’t even go there to begin with. In cases like my dream example above, half the battle is just knowing in advance that there are many people who are going to try to insert themselves into my business and overstep their boundaries.

Confrontation: A Mandatory Kingdom Attribute

If you know me personally, I have a tendency to put up with certain situations (and people) for a time but, when I reach the limits of my patience, believe me, I have no problem putting people back in their place, firing them and setting order. Rather than tell the rest of the ideas that came to mind in concerning my dream, let me just leave you with that.

In addition to using my dream as an excellent opportunity to pass along some advice, uhh yes, I also did this to serve as a warning shot for those to whom this applies so I can tell them at the time that God already knew how evil they would be regarding their dishonoring of me.
