Almost 10 years ago, I was told by a prophet that God was going to give me “an idea” that would lead to great wealth. Back then, I was in the early stages of my supernatural awakening and I had a severe inability to understand how God communicated with anyone! I had almost no experience with that and the concept of God giving me an idea that would cause me to start a business was well past my comprehension. Well thankfully today, many things have changed and I have both learned and experienced how God does such things! Here’s a glimpse of how God helped me learn to receive and recognize His instructions…

This Was Supposed To Be Normal

And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

A few months ago, I was listening to an audible version of one of Kim Clement’s books (Secrets of the Prophetic). In the first few chapters, he told the process of how man lost the ability to hear from God. He started with Adam and Eve before the fall and then continued to explain the digression to less and less direct contact between man and God. As Kim described it, by the time you get to the Israelites in the desert with Moses, you find an entire nation of people who, not only have no direct connection with God but, no longer even want to hear directly from Him!

Shifting to our modern times now… The first 40 years of my life, I went to churches that were exactly like the Israelites in the desert. The idea that God actually spoke to us was extremely rare, very out of the ordinary or even mocked. The few times I heard a pastor insinuate that God actually told him anything felt like I was hearing a fairy tale.

When I finally made it to the Pentecostal churches, where it is assumed that people actually have a real connection with God, something very confusing happened. In one very lively small Virginia church, the pastor openly said that God rarely speaks to anyone. When I heard that, I asked him after the service if that was actually a Pentecostal church.

Here’s my point… There is a very long standing and deep rooted stronghold in most churches that prevents people from believing God is actually real and has any relevance in our daily lives. After my own “education” in decades of many types of churches, I was like almost everyone else: 100% blocked off from God by satanic mind blinding (which was done by the church).

How I Broke Out

And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

If you read my “Supernatural Science…” ebook, then you know how hard it was for me to get to the point where I could recognize God’s very subtle voice. I spent several years struggling very badly with recognizing when He was speaking to me in various ways, particularly with giving me ideas.

Perhaps the biggest turning point for me was when I started writing that above ebook. It began a day like any other except, as I remember, I came out of the shower and I had the thought to write a new ebook. As I sat down at my laptop, I was shocked at how fast I could write. In only a few hours, I had 28 pages done! By the end of that day, I began wondering if God showed me anything in a dream about that. I only wanted to do what God planned for me and nothing outside of that.

When I looked back at the last 3 weeks of dreams, one odd one jumped out at me. It was a dream where I saw myself getting a casual button down shirt out of a closet. I knew that dreams of wearing clothing can be about being dressed according to your type of job or calling.

That dream came to me around the same time as another one where I had 2 similar shirts of a different kind. I realized the 2 shirts represented my first free ebook about dreams which I had just updated. The 2 shirts represented the first and second versions of that ebook. Now that I had the decode clue confirmed about the meaning of shirts, I knew the button down shirt dream was about me writing the newest ebook. This was such a big deal to me because it proved that the thought to write the newest ebook that hit me as I came out of the shower was in fact from God!!

The Process Of Renewing & Transforming

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

From that day on, I knew that being in the shower was a place where I would get inspired ideas that came from the Holy Spirit. As I began to recognize the “feeling” of getting inspired ideas and seeing how they played out when I took action on them, I was then able to recognize God’s subtle voice in other situations. The more I practiced this, the better I became at discerning between my own thoughts, those from the devil and the perfect ones from God.

Beyond that, I also learned that by putting myself intentionally in the presence of God, I would receive more communication and have more confidence in the reliability of what I was getting. By this, I mean there are things you can do deliberately to draw near to God. Playing praise and worship music is one of the top ways, especially by finding songs that speak to you. Even by listening to the same song repeatedly, you will notice that it begins to break you past the mind of the flesh and into the presence of God. There are other things you can do but, from my experience, music is one of the top methods.

Music is about changing and controlling spiritual atmospheres. The more you assertively take control over the atmosphere in your home (or elsewhere), the more you will start to see this transformation that I’m describing. Although too long of a topic for this episode, when I deal more with what God showed me about taking down high level demonic rulers over cities, regions and nations, you will see why this is such a critical practice for manifesting the Kingdom of God.

If you are in the same situation I was a few years ago, do the things I’ve mentioned in this short episode and do them regularly. What I’m describing here was not an instant overnight victory and transformation for me but, it is exactly the renewing of the mind process that Paul speaks about. From my experience, it is definitely a war of the mind that you CAN and WILL have victory over if you do the hard work as I did.

Remember, in the beginning, man had a face to face relationship with God and that is how it was supposed to be. Even after the fall of Adam and Eve, God still maintained direct contact with us. The fall made it harder for us to have that contact but, it is all throughout the Bible that we are required to “seek His face” and restore what was lost long ago! Never again allow a church to preach the same demonic doctrines that I spent 4 decades of my life in.

If I can break out of the satanic “religious” blockade and learn to recognize God’s communication with me, so can you. There simply is NO other way to live!
