This episode contains some answers to a 6 year mystery about a very personal matter. It’s about the very unusual match God gave me after two decades of searching for the woman who would fit the description of “helper” in my life. Just as the rest of my story has a number of very unlikely and challenging aspects, this one is no different. It’s about why God chose a wife who is very different from me in many ways but, that He had a purpose which transcended far beyond what I could have imagined. This episode will shed light on the much bigger background story behind how and why God chose to bring a globe changing invention to earth in many unusual ways.
Before we get started, I should point out that the title of this series says “The Secret Life…”, NOT the “public life”. That’s sort of obvious but it’s like everything else we overlook due to over familiarity. I really need to emphasize that the invention God gave me is NOT the most important thing. On the contrary, it is the background story of how God did it that matters most. The story has the ability to transform the world in more ways than the technology itself. With that in mind, we now must deal with a very profound part of it.
She Must Be God’s Choice
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Genesis 2:23 (KJV)
In the 20 or so years of searching for a wife, I did my share of looking around and wondering what type of woman God would send me. As a white guy with a military career and college education, my thoughts were primarily about a woman who was similar to me in many outwardly obvious ways. As the years went on, I met many women who just did not have what I felt they needed in order for me to seriously consider marrying them. Most of the women I met were in churches similar to what I had attended but, there was always something missing that I could not put my finger on.
I did have a very clear sense that I needed someone who fit God’s real purpose for my life. My problem, however, was that for most of those years, I simply did not know the answer to that most important question: why DID God put me here? Eventually, I discovered that my sense of needing a very exact woman was well founded.
When you look at the Biblical pattern of Adam and Eve, you find that God did not even bring up the topic of a woman until AFTER He gave Adam his work assignment. If you look at my 20 year military career, you could naturally assume that was God’s real assignment for me. That is probably what most people would think. However, all throughout those 20 years, I knew there was something very big missing and that the military was only my stepping stone.
Since I had no idea about the “real reason” why God put me here, I did not know what type of woman I needed. What good would it have done if I got married to someone who I later found out was at odds with God’s real purpose for me?! I do know for a fact that if I had married either of the women I met before my wife, they could have become a major hindrance to all that God required of me once my military career ended.
If I did one smart thing in my search for a wife, it was that I knew I needed clear confirmations from God about who she was. I knew that my own choice of a wife would not necessarily be the right one according to God’s perfect plan.
Equally Yoked, But Not Necessarily As You Think
And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Matthew 19:5-6 (KJV)
Just from what I have written so far, I think you are getting the idea that most people do not get married according to simple Biblical criteria. If you just go out and get married to whoever seems “right” to you, when God has not dealt with you about your real purpose, you are probably making a very big and costly mistake. Many people, including in the church do not use this simple Biblical pattern we see in Adam and Eve!
I began to learn that the meaning of Apostle Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 6:14 about being “unequally yoked” was much bigger than just getting married to another Christian. In my journey that I write about in this series, I found out that most Christians never search for their true God-intended purpose and they never seriously go after His perfect plan for any aspect of their lives. Just to marry another Christian is NOT sufficient! God has a very unique and specific plan for each of us and only He knows which two people need to be matched in order for that purpose to be fulfilled. It is NOT as simple as the church has told us.
As I learned about my own God-intended purpose, I started to realize that the woman I needed was probably not going to be the kind I had imagined during my 20 years of searching. My supernatural awakening, as I call it, changed everything and most of the professional, well educated white women were not going to have the qualities needed to dive into this “strange” new realm that God pushed me into. Not to mention, having to give up everything and live purely by faith with almost nothing (for 10 years) was not exactly the kind of thing you see women with my similar background doing. As you can see, the pieces of this puzzle were not quite coming together as I had been expecting during all those years of imagining what my wife would be like.
But, that’s just the beginning. There is much more to say about the characteristics I discovered that were much more important than just the simple outwardly obvious ones as I mentioned above. There was the matter of the global ministry God required me to be connected to in order for my life purpose to be fulfilled. I’ve mentioned it before but God did not use any of the “popular prophets” to push me into my destiny. God used someone who was also very different from me in many ways and one that is very good at disrupting status quo worldwide (in a very good way).
You should already know this by now but, you’d be surprised how many people refuse to acknowledge it when I say repeatedly that the man God used to give me the missing piece of my life purpose is none other than David E. Taylor. He is the ONLY one who has what I needed according to my calling and purpose and as God confirmed to me many times, no one else out there in ministry could ever do what he has for me. Wasn’t I talking about being equally yoked, but not in the way you might think?? Yep! And this part was no different! So, let’s get back to the topic of why God chose a very different kind of wife for me…
Only recently did I receive a glimpse of why God chose someone very different than me. When I first met my wife, I had dreams that she and I were effectively foreigners who spoke different languages. As I got to know my wife, I saw that we had many different ideas about everything. She came from a family very different than mine, with very different life experiences and educational background. Of course, we had things in common but, not exactly the kinds of things I had imagined during those two decades of searching.
Mysteries Buried In Ethnic Varieties
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Revelation 7:9 (KJV)
When God first gave me the assignment to start my blog site and interpret dreams, I began noticing the shortcomings in my own white culture. I noticed there were other cultures that were much better able to understand the supernatural / spiritual realm than I was – especially the black / African one. In fact, to confirm my observations were correct, the first people God sent to me when I began interpreting dreams through my website were from Africa.
At some point in my search for a wife, I told God it didn’t matter what her ethnicity was. I had begun noticing the qualities God put in the black / African culture that were totally absent from my own. I saw that they had a much greater connection with spiritual things whereas my culture mistakenly thought they were better because of their intellectualism and ability to build large companies and organized governmental structures.
I found that within my culture was a serious sin of pride and haughtiness because of their God-given abilities. I saw how my culture despised others who did not have the same skills and dismissed the qualities God put into the African and other ethnicities. Unfortunately, my culture has so far been very reluctant to openly admit its errors of prejudice and racism because of their lack of humility.
On the other side of the equation, I also saw how certain black movements were infiltrated by the devil and began pushing reverse racism, a different sin of ethnic pride, violence and disgusting evil behaviors. As a result, many in my culture further entrenched themselves into the false belief that there was “no racism” toward blacks and that blacks should have “gotten over it by now” from the hundreds of years of oppression, slavery and discrimination done to them by my white culture.
A Mystery Of Purpose Revealed By Jesus
And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Luke 8:8 (KJV)
Despite what I had been learning about the God-given benefits within other cultures, there were still a few missing pieces in my understanding of why God chose a woman with many contrasting differences to be my wife. As if I didn’t already feel I was chosen for things far beyond my abilities, the match God planned for me from the beginning of time was no exception.
Rather than focus on the differences between myself and my wife, I need to point out that those differences are there as a compliment to what I lack. I learned that when you are seeking God’s true purpose for your life, you are acting in your role as a king in God’s kingdom. As such, when you “seek first the kingdom…” (Matthew 6:33), God ADDS to you the things you are lacking. In my case, because my assignment is so unusual, God knew that I needed many things that would seem very out of the ordinary to a typical professional white guy like myself.
Let’s now go straight to the one video where God revealed many confirmations and revelations about why He chose Jonika to be the perfect match according to His plan for my life. In the video linked below is the answer to that mystery revealed to a woman named Jessica in a face to face appearance from Jesus in a near death experience…
I Died & What Jesus Revealed About BLACK PEOPLE Will Shock You!
Now you know a little bit more about my unusual story of discovering and walking out the fulfillment of my God-intended life purpose. I’ve barely scratched the surface in discussing the wife God gave me and how much I’ve been learning as a result. This is obviously a much longer story which I will be dealing with in greater detail soon.
I really need to emphasize what I wrote in a previous episode where I told how God gave the details of the invention design to my wife in ways I could not have received myself. God did it this way for a reason and the world needs to know about it. The entire black ethnicity needs to know what the devil tried to hide from them. A God-given truth stolen by the devil but now being brought back into the light. This story will be a huge piece in promoting that truth.
There is much more to say about God’s amazing plan, especially with the wife He chose for me. Be assured, we are going to deal with this in much greater length in future episodes!
To be continued…
