When God begins to show you clues to your calling and purpose in your dreams, there are deliberate actions you must take in order to make what you saw come into reality. In some cases, the proper response will be easy to figure out but, in other cases, it will not. In my last 10 years, I’ve had both kinds of dreams – those where I knew what to do and those where I did not. In this episode, I want to tell you a little of what I did in response to my energy technology dreams and what I learned in the process. This will be a very practical episode where you can get a glimpse of how you can apply the same pattern of what I did to your own God-given calling. Along with that, yes, I’m going to tell you a little of how God showed me that many of our movies are not fiction!!

A Dream Does Not Manifest Itself Into Reality

And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

When I first began having dreams about my energy tech invention, I really had no idea what was going on. All I knew at first was that I was having “science dreams”. In those dreams, I saw references to Einstein, hydroelectric power, solar power, nuclear power, high energy plasma beams, power stations on distant planets and some other strange sights. It was about one and a half years before I had any idea of what these dreams were all about and what I was supposed to do with them. All I knew at first was to write them all down along with some initial notes about what I found their meaning to be.

After that first year and a half, I had a very bizarre dream where I was floating in space next to a space capsule. I was hearing someone talk about the Pleiades stars and it seemed like I had heard all this once before. Then, I was standing on a far away distant planet with a surface like the moon. The sky was dark and I saw a very large power station illuminated by lights high up on poles. Somehow, the Pleiades stars had turned into the lights that illuminated that power station.

When I woke up from that dream, to say I was confused would be huge understatement. I did everything I could to find the symbolic meaning of all the primary elements I saw in the dream. I knew that the Bible mentioned the Pleiades stars but, when I looked it up, the only thing that stood out to me was how it said was how they were “bound” together (see Job 9 & 38). After 2 months of not getting very far in my attempts to interpret this dream, I called up my parent ministry and spoke with someone on the 24 hour dream staff. And that was THE phone call that finally broke the code on what God was calling me to do as an inventor in the realm of energy technology!

Discovering That “Science Fiction” Is True!

Rather than tell too much more about that dream, let’s hold on that for now and I’ll tell you what I did with all my “science dreams” once I understood what field God was calling me to. The first thing I did was to create a document and spreadsheet where I copied and pasted all my dreams from my journal that dealt with science and technology. I then began looking up anything that stood out to me online and I began a ton of reading. Because I did so poorly in the one electrical engineering class I took in my college (the US Air Force Academy), I had my work cut out for me in learning the basics of electronics all over again.

In researching all my dreams, I ended up on a wild goose chase where I learned about nuclear waste powered diamond batteries (don’t ask me to explain that). I learned about how solar panels work, which have something in common with the process of photosynthesis and the scientist who traced the chemical pathways in plants named Melvin Calvin. I re-learned a little about nuclear fission and the all elusive nuclear fusion. In the process of that, God gave me a dream that surprisingly pointed to a genius named David Adair who is the only man to create a working fusion reactor. Had I not had that dream, I would have had no proof that his story was true!

Then came the big eye opener when another strange dream about an iPhone upgrade pointed me directly to a conversation in the Marvel Avengers movie (2012) where Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner and Tony Stark were talking about the new arc reactor that Tony used to power his building. Subsequent to that, God showed me in many dreams that I am, in fact, the real life Tony Stark. Beyond those dreams, I had others where I saw references to the Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon and the flux capacitor in Back to the Future.

As if that was not enough, God also used bizarre dream references to prove that UFOs are real and that there is valid science that causes their silent propulsion systems to work. Eventually, I was able to connect a theme I noted in several of my dreams and I realized that God was also showing me that light speed propulsion is actually possible. But, in order for me to understand how these things could be true, God pointed me to the reality that our “mainstream science” was totally WRONG. Instead, He used dreams to show that I needed to hear what the Electric Universe scientists had to say because, ONLY their version of cosmology was correct!

Our Imagination: In The Likeness Of God

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

At some point during those dreams, I began to realize that there was really NO such thing as “science fiction” and the reason for that is simple. We were created in the image and likeness of God, and as such, what we come up with in our imagination many times comes directly from God (Genesis 1:26). And that is where I will stop because I have already dealt with that subject sufficiently in my ebook and video series, “Marvel Dream Revelations“.

Here’s the point of my episode today – when God begins showing you clues to your calling and purpose, you MUST take action on what He shows you! As you can see from what I wrote here, the first of many action steps is to write down your dreams! When you do that, you can refer back to them, along with the notes you included when you began researching the things He showed you. True, your calling will be different than mine and yours may not be quite so scientific. Either way, there are certain action steps that you must take in order to bring your dreams out of the spirit realm and make them show up in the natural realm.

In a future episode, I will tell more about how I have taken deliberate action on my dreams of the invention and the business I will be starting. In the meantime, I have already dealt with that quite a bit in my blogs, videos and ebooks. This is definitely a subject I will return to, especially when the invention is in the building stage.

For now, I think you get the idea that God expects you to take prompt and deliberate action on the things He shows you in your dreams. As you do that, expect some big surprises as you dive into that research and watch for additional dreams where He reveals more and more about the real purpose of your life as He intended it! As I’ve said many times before, God’s plan for your life is infinitely bigger than anything you have come up with. Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT miss it!!
