In the midst of writing a very long series on my supernatural entrepreneur journey, I’m still trying to include my typical blogs that help readers understand their dreams. God’s parabolic communication in our dreams has been one of my top subjects for the last 10 years and I expect it will continue indefinitely. With that said, dreams of a parked vehicle are a very common message about some area of your life that is not in motion. Just this week, I had my own parked vehicle dream and I wanted to use it to help illustrate the meaning in case you get one like this as well.
If you are not already familiar, vehicles of many kinds are a common symbol in your dreams. These vehicles can be cars, busses, trains, boats, airplanes, bicycles and motorcycles, etc. Each type has a different symbolic meaning and paying attention to the details will you understand what the dream is about. Because of how common dreams of vehicles are, several of my blogs have already dealt with them and you can find them all here at this link: Vehicles in Dreams.
With that brief introduction, let’s go to my recent dream about a parked vehicle and how it related to my life at the time…
Dream: A Parked Government Utility Vehicle
March 17, 2025 – I have a large dark blue government utility van parked in what seems like a typical reserved parking space for such a vehicle. The space is only a few feet from a big white government building. I had just walked out from the building and I’m asking an unknown man about that parking space but, it seemed I was very insecure about being there (among about other things). The man walked by me and made a negative / sarcastic comment about my concern over being parked there. The nature of his comment was that it was my choice where to park and I didn’t his permission for that. Next, I’m driving the van out from that parking space but, I can’t see anything in my rear view. Then, I’m about to drive forwards but someone is pushing a dumpster and maybe a bicycle (or whatever) and I’m trying to maneuver around them but, the brakes on the van barely work. I didn’t hit anything or anyone but I only barely missed them by a few inches. Lastly, there was a very tight right turn and a very narrow driving area to get through on the side of the building. I seemed to see a fence around the whole area close to the parking area, as if the building and parking lot was inside a secure compound.
Here are the primary symbols interpreted…
- Government = governments often represent the Kingdom of God, especially in the context of many of my previous dreams on this subject.
- Security fence = helps emphasize the fact this is a government building.
- Utility van = this type of vehicle is about my work assignment, primarily as it relates to what I do here on this website; although it is not limited to that since I have a calling to an upcoming invention business and I am part of a global Kingdom of God ministry.
- Parked van = often represents a time of inactivity; for several days before the dream, I was not able to do any blog writing and felt that it was God’s way of having me take a short break so I could focus on other things during that time.
- Dark blue = (color of van) this is the standard color for government vehicles (especially on military bases) in my country so it merely helps illustrate this is in fact a government scenario within the Kingdom of God.
- Government building = represents the structure of the Kingdom of God and any activities I may be participating in within this context.
- White = (color of building) represents purification, especially regarding character traits; this is the clue to what I had been working on while parked at the building.
- Driving out = leaving the parking space indicates that I would soon be making the effort to get moving again in my normal projects (blogs, ebooks, etc).
- No brakes = indicates that I would be feeling out of control in some ways; literally, a few days later I had been feeling very impatient due to circumstances that I have been unable to change for a very long time.
- Obstacles = (the objects that were being pushed by a person) these were hindrances of various kinds that made it difficult for me to get moving again with my projects as alluded to above; in real life, there were internet problems that made my attempts to get back on track difficult.
- Narrow road = indicates some additional difficulty in the near future, similar to the above obstacles.
- Avoiding a crash = not hitting anyone / anything means I would be near to getting into a dispute with someone as I tried to regain my former momentum; that potential was very likely due to recent significant internet problems and points back to the character trait of meekness which I had been working hard to develop.
- Insecure = literally at that time, I had started feeling insecure about many things, partly the result of spending much of my time on developing certain character traits which I have been weak on in the past; that over-focus lead to an imbalance which then resulted in a lack of boldness and confidence in many areas of my life.

Relevant Real Life Circumstances
In case the above breakdown was not totally clear, let me elaborate on it all here. This dream came after I had been sitting for several days unable to write any new blogs or do anything else that relates to my calling. In the last 10 years of writing blogs, I’ve learned increasingly to write by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, rather than my own intellectual reasonings.
Sometimes, I feel the need to stop all writing because God may have something else for me to do, for a period of time. As a result of my recent pause, I had been getting somewhat anxious about not keeping up with my writing and posting of blogs. In response, I started asking God for help with ideas that I could take action on.
The dream started out showing me exiting a government building (the Kingdom of God) environment. The white building was a symbol of purification as it relates to the character traits I had been working to develop, especially those needed for the next stage of my assignment within the Kingdom of God.
Therefore, being inside the building, instead of driving the van, referred to my time of introspection. Getting in the van to drive out again meant that I was now ending the time of exclusively focusing on character traits and going back to my normal activities.
This dream came at the time when I had been feeling “stuck” and unable to make any new progress with my normal projects. I took the dream as a good sign that God was answering my prayers for new ideas. I also understood that He was showing me that, as I began my normal work again, there would be various hindrances that would make it difficult for me to get started. In real life, the place where I am currently staying has been having internet problems (unreliable connection).
As I mentioned above, I had been spending much of my recent time focusing on developing new character traits (such as meekness) which in the past, I had very little of. I came to understand that, for God to give me the things I had been waiting a long time for, I needed more of that trait. As I looked back at my entire life, I noticed how far I fell short in that area.
As a result of focusing too much on what was wrong with me (past and present), it caused me to become very insecure. Knowing that insecurity is NOT a Kingdom of God character trait, I understood that God was hinting here at my lack of balance in dealing with the weak areas of my character.
The end result of the dream was that I did have to struggle with getting back on track with my normal work. As of the time of this writing, I have been experiencing both impatience and hindrances of various kinds and even the potential to get into a dispute over the suddenly very bad internet service. Rather than trying to handle all this in my own strength, I started asking God for help with new ideas so I could get back on track again with all my normal work.
