In the process of walking out your personal God-intended life purpose, you may get a few good surprises along the way. This has happened to me a couple times including recently. What I mean is, in the beginning of your journey, you are only going to know so much about what God has called you to. Some of those clues will come in the form of dreams and others will come from personal prophetic words from prophets. As you do your part by handling what has been revealed to you, those clues will begin showing you much more about your true calling and purpose than you had been told in the beginning. I have a couple really great examples of how this happened to me and I want to tell you about those now.

$Billions, Not Millions

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

One repeating theme that I continue to emphasize in this series is that God’s plan for your life is far bigger than anything you could imagine. This is why I keep pushing the idea that you really need to give up your very tiny plans for your life and pursue what God intended for you from the beginning of creation. We imagine all sorts of things that we would like to do with our lives but, let’s not forget that the ability to imagine comes from the fact we are made in the likeness of God. That God who created our brain to function as it does has a much “bigger” brain than we do and His ability to imagine is infinitely greater than ours. For us to think we have a better plan for our lives is absurd.

When I first received the confirmation that God was going to give me what I had been asking Him for, it came in the form of a prophecy which was actually not overly detailed. I’ve said this before but, I was told by a prophet (actually an apostle) that God was going to give me an idea that would make millions of dollars and that I would never need a paycheck again. In that prophecy, I was never actually told what kind of idea that would be! We could say that the first surprise in my journey was that, one and a half years after that prophecy, I finally got the answer to what God was going to give me to cause those millions of dollars to come in. But, that’s not the part I want to emphasize here.

About four years after I received that prophetic word, I had a dream that showed the financial size of the company I would create. In the dream, I saw a stock chart on graph paper and there were bars that showed many companies and their net worth. There were numbers under the chart to indicate what those values were but I was not able to make out the exact numbers. Then, I saw the bar for my company. I watched it shoot up 3 separate times very rapidly with a pause between each rise. The first time it went up, it passed the bars for all other companies. By the third time, the bar of my company actually went off the chart and into space! My company looked as if you put the Burj Khalifa in Dubai next to a bunch of three story buildings. I was shocked! God had just revealed to me that what He was giving me was actually far bigger than what I was told in my prophecy.

Then came the summer of 2020 when I was in a private staff call with the global ministry I’m part of (JMMI). Apostle David E. Taylor had me say a few words about what was going on with me and I spoke about what I had been learning about my upcoming invention. When I had finished, Apostle Taylor said that I would be one of the top technology inventors on earth and God would cause BILLIONS of dollars to come into the Kingdom of God from my company. Hearing that, I knew it was a confirmation of my dream the year before and now I was beginning to understand more about what God really planned for me.

All this was shocking! Let’s back up a few episodes here and remember that prior to my pursuit of God’s plan for my life, all I ever wanted to do was fly a jet as a professional pilot. What did I say about giving up our tiny plans for our lives and seeking what God had in mind?? Ok, but let’s get to that part about being a pilot now shall we?

A “Heavy” Opportunity

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Remember how I explained my detoured path to becoming a pilot and how I gave it all up in order to find out what God really put me here for? Well… here’s something you may enjoy hearing. Sometimes, when we give up what we wanted so much, God has a way of giving it back to us in much bigger and better ways. In 2011, I effectively gave up flying as a pilot and instructor when I realized there really was a supernatural realm and I determined I was not going to live the rest of my life without it operating through me. Flying was really the only thing I cared about but I willingly gave it up because God had just showed me something so amazing and I knew it was going to require my full attention to learn what I had been told my entire life did not exist. So, that’s what I did.

As I began to learn how God speaks to us in parabolic dreams, I started to realize I was getting a repeat theme in many of them. I kept seeing myself flying in various scenarios. In one unusual dream, I was on a city bus sitting next to a corporate CEO and his private jet pilot. I asked the pilot what he flew and he told me in the form of a clue I had to research when I woke up. In the dream, I never saw a copilot. Years later, I started getting dreams showing me that I was going to return to flying as a pilot again. As I wrote recently, it was 14 years after I walked away from flying that God gave me the opportunity to return to it. Shortly after I went through the training to get back up to speed again, I got a prophetic word that was instantly confirmed on the same day.

I was told that an opportunity would come up for me to fly a very large “heavy” cargo jet for humanitarian relief missions. A few details were spoken about how this would take place and I began to realize this opportunity might just fit into the plans I had already been drawing up for my own invention company. I’m being intentionally vague here but, let’s just say that I discovered the possible need for a large cargo jet for my company and there might be a way to use one jet for both missions. I will say that God used a prophet to tell me about this upcoming pilot position and that on the same day, I received a confirmation of that word from a second unsuspecting source.

So let’s put this into the larger picture. In 2011, I gave up flying to find out what God created me for. In 2025, I was able to complete my flight proficiency training to regain my former pilot status. In those years following my 2015 prophecy of the invention, God began to show me that I would have my own corporate jet and that I would fly it. Then, in 2025, God revealed that I would also fly for another organization as pilot of a very large jet, bigger than anything I had imagined.

That’s how I’ve learned that God gives you surprises and promotions along your journey when you are faithful in walking out what He has shown you up to that point. But, these are not all the promotions I’ve been shown! There are others that came to me in dreams and prophetic words that go far beyond the size of a company or the kind of jet I will be flying! I’m talking about things that go so far beyond money and inventions! Things that are not limited to the realm of earth and this lifetime!

Maybe we should talk about that sometime? Maybe those are things that go far beyond the scope of this series. Just maybe it has something to do with a realm of the supernatural that few even know exist. Let’s come back to that again.
