Recently, I was given a prophetic word about what God was doing to (or with) the people in my immediate vicinity or by other associations. What He has been doing with them was not the same as what He was doing with myself and my wife. God has put us in very unusual and unpleasant situations that required the direct involvement of other people who were greatly inconvenienced because of God’s assignment for us. I need to say a few words about why we have been assigned to specific locations for periods of time and what God was doing to / with the people in those places while we were assigned there. Along with that, what will happen to those who pass or fail the tests God gave them through our assignment.
It Was Done For Your Good
And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
1 Kings 17:13-14 (KJV)
In the Bible, we see that God used various specific people to accomplish things in regions for either many or few. We see that Elijah was sent to a region and God used him to cause a famine which served as a judgment. He was also used to give a financial miracle to a woman who provided for him. He was also used to make a distinction between the false religions and the one true real God. In some cases, Elijah even used the power he received from God to kill people who came to attack him and try to stop his God-given assignment.
Moses was also sent to a region to deliver many from bondage under an evil governmental system. In the process of that, he caused plagues and famines and the death of many. As we know, he accomplished his assignment of delivering his people from slavery. While in the desert, God used him as a test for those people that were delivered from Egypt. Some people passed the test while others failed. In all cases, those who failed either met an early death or they were refused the promised land by God. Very few from the original group were rewarded by God for passing the tests in that desert wilderness time.
Jesus came on the scene much later on and He brought a message that opposed the mainstream religious leaders of the time. Jesus made many bold claims, performed miracles and brought a message that had not been heard before. In the process of his short time on earth, many chose to follow Him while others rejected Him. God used Jesus as a test to see who He would deliver from the 4,000 years of sin and death since Adam and Eve. But, He also came with much more than that. God wanted to see who He could train to become the next kings and restore what had been lost when the first two humans submitted to satan. Jesus was used to make a distinction between those who would inherit eternal life and those who would not. Those who follow Jesus can receive many great things but, those who reject Him go to an eternal hell.
So far, we are very simply reviewing a few basic Biblical facts without getting into too many details. This is not intended to be a full list of all the people in the Bible that God used for similar purposes as the above (there are many more!) The purpose of this episode is not to do an in-depth Bible study, you can do that on your own time. What I’m trying to do is simply show the Biblical precedent for God using specific people to test the responses of those around them. Something I’ve learned is that God is always looking for someone He can use to accomplish great things on earth. In order to do that, He often uses someone as a recruitment tool for others.
Look at Joseph in Genesis 37. God began showing him a great calling for the future in his dreams. But, Joseph had 11 brothers. What did God say about a great calling for each of them? Well… apparently nothing. But the reason for that is found in the answer to a question that almost no one ever asks. God would have had a great calling for those 11 brothers but, because they were so evil, God could do nothing with them. Are we seeing where this is going yet??
The Time Of Your Visitation
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
Luke 19:44 (KJV)
In the last 10 years, God has put me in situations around other people that has caused them to make a sacrifice because of the assignment He put me in. Some have been financially drained because God required them to provide for either only myself or both myself and my wife. This has happened several times now. In each case, God was looking to see the attitudes and responses of those in my presence. He wanted to see how they handled the test He threw at them.
If the people responded properly, then He would do the same things He did in the Bible by giving them miracles of many kinds. For some, he might give a financial reward beyond anything they could imagine. Some might receive knowledge of inventions (as I have) and many doors might open for them which had never happened before. For others, he might save them from a premature death. In all cases, God gave them the opportunity to hear my testimony and learn the truth that if they would do the same kinds of things He required of me, then He would also start to show them something great that He had planned for them to do with their lives.
In short, God has been using myself and my wife to test people to see if they would make themselves eligible for something very great. If they responded properly, then they would be in the works for miracles. But, if they responded wrongly, then they would miss their reward and in some cases, they would be judged just as in the above examples.
In the last few years, I have seen a mix of results. I have seen people receive very interesting divine results when they gave me large amount of money. I have seen in dreams that God was using certain people to provide the things He would not allow me to provide for myself. I have also seen many display a very evil attitude towards myself and my wife because of their evil religious pharisee attitudes. I have seen some provide for us but, not with a good heart. I have watched constant judgmental and despising attitudes by many people, wherever I went because of the assignment God gave me. I have even seen people verbally and physically attack me (and warning dreams from God showing the same coming to my wife). As a result, I have seen in dreams that God will kill those people because they dared to touch God’s anointed (myself and my wife).
What Will You Do?
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…
2 Chronicles 16:9a (KJV)
In all cases, exactly as the Biblical examples at the top, God has been using myself and my wife to see who He could reward (or not). He used us to test people and make distinctions between who was good and who was evil. He was using our very unusual situation as a test for many others in our location. Ultimately, He wanted to get a message through to them that they had not heard at any time before in their lives.
He wanted to give them great things and show them His real purpose for their lives, just as He would have with Joseph’s 11 brothers. Unfortunately, I have been continually astounded by the frequent evil attitudes of those in the locations we have been sent to.
During the last 10 years when I began to learn what God really put me here for, all I wanted was to spread this message to many others. I wanted them to see that God did have an amazing plan for their lives if they would go after Him as I had. I wanted them to see the same amazing results I had been and that they would discover a purpose in life they never imagined!
I came with a message that could transform the lives of all who came in contact with myself and my wife. I got that message from God over these many years and I was not going to keep it to myself. What will you do?
Will you MISS the time of your visitation when God sends you a person whom He is using to test you to see if He can give you a reward? Will you recognize what God is doing (with you). Will you pass or fail that test??
