Have you ever wondered if you are really following God’s instructions and revelations about your calling? Have you ever noticed that sometimes, facts will contradict what God has told you? What if it’s something bigger… what if you are wondering whether or not you even heard God correctly and if your mind made up some things and now you are way off on the wrong track? This has happened to me and I want to tell you about one example regarding my invention design that came from God which I have already spoken much about. So far, I have intentionally said very little about the design – what it looks like, how it functions and how it is made. While I am still not legally allowed to discuss those details, I can tell you about that time when I wanted to know if the design we had was actually correct. In answer to my many questions, God gave me a dream that confirmed we were on the right track and any confusion about certain details would be clarified in due time. Here’s what happened…

A Dream Of The Pleiades & A Photo

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

Dream – I’m parked at a scenic view overlooking a mountain range in the early morning before sunrise. It’s winter and there’s lots of snow and ice all over, including the parking area where I’m standing. I have a digital SLR camera and I’m waiting to get the best shot of what looks like the Pleiades stars low in the sky, right above the mountains. I can see one star in the sky, but not the rest of the cluster because there are clouds partially obscuring the scene. I’m going to send the photo to a friend and make an e-card because it’s his birthday. While I was waiting for the clouds to clear, I took one photo of the scene and I wanted to see how it looked. The photo showed the mountains and night sky and it came out well but, there were no stars in it. I decide to walk a little closer to the scene so I could get past some trees between myself and the mountain scene but, I left the camera on the hood of the car. When I got past the trees, I saw that the view was much better so I start walking back to the car to get my camera. End.

Before I tell what the dream meant, let me set the stage by saying that for the whole week before, I had been looking at the invention design every day for several hours. I wanted to make sure I knew what we had and to organize the notes and make things easier to work with. As I did that, things became much more clear but, there were some key details that I was questioning. Some things did not make sense according to well established knowledge of material science. Then, there were some measurements that I thought needed to be modified based on basic principles of engineering mechanics.

In case I had not said it yet, when God gave the design for the invention, He did not do it in such a way that required no use of my brain! This was NOT a simple matter of getting a blueprint in a dream and waking up and writing it down exactly as seen. God did not make it that easy (which, up to that point, I was expecting Him to!) Every detail of the design required me to use my memory of past college engineering courses and then to do a lot of research from that point. I had to look up calculations for the weight of materials and their scientific properties. I had to make many measurements and step back and use a good quantity of common sense just to see if parts of the design looked right. I had to make scale drawings of major components and then put them together to see how they would all look when assembled.

Every detail of the design required a process of analysis both separately as well as in full assembly just to see if it all made sense. If any part of it didn’t look right, then the deep dive work began to re-engineer that component and then again see if the whole thing fit together after that. Nothing was made simple! Again, God did not give me a design and let me throw my brain in the trashcan.

So, now having explained the backstory that led up to my dream above, I can now tell you what the dream meant and how it answered my questions about whether or not we were on the right track with the design.

Taking Apart The Details To Reveal The Answer

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

In order to keep my interpretation of the dream and the real life circumstances easy to understand, I will simplify or omit certain details that are not significant or relevant for our purposes. We start with the primary detail in the dream which was the Pleiades stars. This was only my second time seeing those in a dream and it was the first clue that this dream was about the invention. Remember a previous episode where I explained how that first dream of the Pleiades showed me that I was going to have “an invention to power the planet”? Seeing it again now was not a guarantee that the dream was about the invention but it was a good starting point to consider.

Next, the stars were above a mountain range that looked exactly like the scene in Colorado Springs, where the invention will be built. That was the second clue that this might be about the invention. After that was the fact that there were clouds obscuring the view of the stars and that I wanted to get a photo of them. The clouds meant that I was only able to see something partially and that I would need to wait before the full view was clear. Remember how I said above that there was a time when I was questioning certain parts of the invention design?

Then there was the symbol of a camera. Specifically, it was a digital SLR camera (not an iPhone in camera mode). This meant that the subject of the dream (symbolized by the Pleiades) required detailed knowledge. If you think about it, taking a photo with an iPhone camera is very simple. Mostly, all you have to do is point the camera and push the button. There are no extreme details and settings to change just to get the right photo as with a digital SLR camera. In simple terms, cameras represent the act of making a note or recording of something that is very significant to you. The fact that we are dealing with an SLR camera indicates that the dream is about something that requires an extreme focus on details and even the idea of engineering.

While I waited for the clouds to clear, I took a photo and liked how it looked. This part of the dream meant that the knowledge of the invention was good to that point. However, what was missing (the Pleiades) were a few key details of the design that God needed to reveal to us so that the device would work. This element of the dream became one of several that confirmed we were on the right track and that we still needed God to answer us with the remaining information.

The next part in the dream is where I was walking around the trees to get a better view. That represents me “taking steps” to see something more clearly. The photo I took while waiting for the clouds to clear contained no stars but it was a nice scene. That meant I had something good but, it was still lacking a main element. Going back to get my camera (after seeing the better view from around the trees) meant I needed to go back to a stored memory and to be prepared to get more insights / knowledge.

The winter scene represents a time (season) of waiting where things are “on ice”, as in preserved for a later time. That agrees with the fact that the Pleiades were obscured by the clouds and both indicate a timeline that only God was in control of. The time of day in the dream (early morning, before sunrise) represents the literal “4th watch prayer time” between 3 – 6 AM when God gives unusual revelations and insights, as I wrote about in a recent episode.

The last detail is about a friend I know in real life who lives out west and is known for his interest in “unusual” things like stargates and UFOs, etc. This was the last clue that the dream was in fact about the invention because it deals with a form of science few people know or understand.

Confirmation Of Progress

Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

Now that we walked through the primary elements of the dream, here is the simple interpretation… God answered my questions about the invention design by saying that…

1. The knowledge of the invention design that we had was good to that point (the photo of the mountains which lacked the Pleiades).
2. Go back and review all the design information that we had so far (go back and get the camera).
3. Wait for God to give us the full view (understanding) so that we would have everything we needed to make the device work in real life (wait for the clouds to clear).

When I was able to sort out the meaning of that dream, I knew that God had given me what I needed to that point. The overall message from this episode is that, when you are wanting to make sure you heard God correctly, and are following His plan for your life, you CAN get answers in the form of dreams like this that will tell you whether or not you are doing the right things! For those of you who are wondering about the design and the mystery of why God used the Pleiades to represent the invention, well… what do I often say? “Let’s come back to that later.”
