A strange but not unprecedented situation has come up recently. Actually, it’s been developing during the last several months, going back to sometime in mid-2024. There’s these two popular figures that tend to evoke a love / hate response from many. One is a very bold political figure who is good at shaking up status quo and the other is a business disruptor who gets things done and forces the market to follow him. Both of these men I’ve seen in dreams for many years, particularly because I’ll be working with them. But that’s not what I’m writing about today. I want to talk about something very different – the matter of a mandatory principle in the Kingdom of God that hardly anyone seems to know anything about.

From Love To Hate (Overnight??)

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

In the event you did not already guess who I’m speaking of, the two men I’m referring to are Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Do you think it is strange that these two seemed to hit it off in such an amazing way a year ago and now suddenly they are at odds with each other?? How does one person change that fast and turn on the other?

But, it does not stop there! Remember how all the false “green” people loved Elon because electric vehicles were going to save the planet?? And then he joined with Trump’s DOGE team and suddenly all those same people hated him. Really?! Do you not see the stupidity of these reactions? Basically, you can go from being loved one day and then hated the next.

Well, it’s more than a little odd how Jesus also had to deal with the same thing 2,000 years ago. On Palm Sunday they all sang his praises and a few days later the whole city turned against Him. They wanted a king to overthrow the Roman government but Jesus came for a very different reason – a much higher and more effective one. The fickle and weak minded populace couldn’t handle that. They wanted their Happy Meal and a toy. They wanted to climb around in the play room. They didn’t want anything of substance, especially not a message that required the hardest kind of work – the spiritual kind (based on real Truth).

Stop and think about this. How many times do you see people go off with their mouth attacking and accusing others? How often have YOU done it yourself?? Especially when it’s a matter that could be resolved in a friendly way. In case you didn’t know it, when you go off with your mouth attacking people for no good reason, just remember that satan is the accuser. Yes, there are very evil people in the world who need to be harshly rebuked as the Bible says. But that is not always the case. If you are always using your mouth to attack and accuse people, YOU are acting like satan and YOU will be sent to the same eternal destination as him. Stop being a traitor!!

The Axe & The Root

Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

Let’s steer this ship back on course and deal with the problem of friends becoming enemies suddenly, overnight. What is this all about? Have you ever studied the root causes of treasonous behaviors?

Simply put, there is an extremely critical principle in a kingdom that I never learned in decades of American churches. It’s something we see illustrated in the Bible and yet, because I live in a western democracy, no one here really understands what this principle is. We know the word loyalty but we don’t understand how critical it is in the Kingdom of God. Those who are loyal are those who can be trusted. Contrarily, those who are quick to turn on you are those who were never your friends to begin with.

It all comes down to a matter of the heart. YOURS. What’s really in there? Do you even know? I’ll tell you how I learned what was in mine – it’s called the wilderness, aka God’s “ancient training program”. The place where your quality of life is so horrible that every single one of your character flaws comes right out where you can’t escape them anymore. It’s God’s plan to expose all that is wrong with you so that you can deal with it (if you so choose properly). I’ll tell you what, I did not like having to live like that. But it did serve to show me all that I just said. Amazing the things I learned about myself.

Here’s the problem with people who have a tendency to turn on others. It’s called an evil heart. Strife and contention is rooted in pride. It’s something we all have to deal with. None of us are exempt! We all have pride in various forms. Some have it in ways that make them think too highly of themselves and then when a situation comes up with another person, instead of valuing the relationship over the problem, they become a traitor to the person who used to be their friend.

Let There Be Light

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Are you seeing it yet? It’s really quite simple. When you feel the need to act in a treasonous way toward another person, it’s because you have not gone through the process of character development. You have not done what John the Baptist said – get to the root of the matter and fix it! Find out what pride actually is and all the manifestations of it. Where it exists in YOU. Find it and go through the process of killing it. Learn the character traits of satan and stop acting like him (YES, I’m talking about church people as well).

When you value being “right” more than you value relationships, that is a manifestation of pride. Truth be told, until I heard solid teaching on all this, I did not know any of what I’m saying either. I was also quick to throw people out and speak against them as well. This is a really BIG matter that I can’t get into fully here. All I wanted to do is bring up the root of the problem when you see people who are quick to turn on their friends.

Jesus was (of course) right when He spoke of the conditions at the end times (Matthew 24 above). All manner of evil would be abundant and people would be filled with hate to the point they turn on each other overnight. Few would even remember the basic teachings of Jesus (and put them into practice). I see this happening all the time now. The level of wickedness in our world has reached the point that it really is hard to avoid getting sucked into the hate. It’s not easy. Wickedness is increasing rapidly and is all around on a daily basis. Without the proper solid spiritual (Biblical) grounding, you’re not going to make it.

I can’t stress it enough. There are many very solid teachings from my parent ministry (JMMI) that deals with all this. The real nature of pride and all its manifestations, the matter of the heart, how to manage relationships, how to treat people, who Jesus really is and what He is really like, how God really does watch you and will judge you according to all this… And much more!

All I’m doing is telling you how I have learned from those teachings and put them into practice myself. How I have been transformed by them (and still am in that process!) If more of these popular figures knew the kinds of things I talk about here, we’d have less treasonous behaviors and more effectiveness in all that we do here on earth. We’d be able to correctly identify and distinguish between Truth and evil and we’d live our lives accordingly.

The world will not be saved by the economy. NO. It will only be saved by a real knowledge of Jesus. Let’s get on with it and start changing the world in the right way.
