Recently, I was asked a very good question by a relative who reads all the episodes in this series. The question started out by saying that I have spoken about generational curses but I had not said anything about generational blessings. When I heard that, I knew immediately that it was a topic I needed to include in this series and, in fact, God had shown me something about that in my dreams in the last few years. Truthfully, in all the years that I have followed those who teach on various aspects of the supernatural realm, I have heard much more about generational curses than I have about generational blessings and as such, I hope this will be a very useful episode for many.

Ancestral Lineage – For Good Or Evil

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 20:5 (KJV)

Most of the time when I speak of generational matters as it relates to our families, it is about curses. That probably sounds overly negative on the surface to the casual observer but, the truth of the matter is that we have far more of those than we care to realize and they play a very strong factor into how our lives turn out. Some families have more than others and some are far worse off because of what their ancestors did in past years. Not to get into a whole teaching on generational curses here but Biblically, what was done in our family lineage (for good or evil) does get passed down through our bloodline and anything evil must be dealt with by us.

I have dealt with this extensively in emails where many hundreds of people have sent me their dreams to interpret. In many of those dreams, generational curses have shown to be the cause of evil things going on in the life of a person right now. Many times it is witchcraft but, it is not limited to that. I’ve even had my own dreams showing evil things being passed down from my ancestors and I have had to deal with certain ugly characteristics popping up in my own life. In short, generational curses are a very real thing and you must look at it from the starting point that you have them and unless you’ve already taken proper Biblical action, they are operating in your life and you will pass them down to your kids, further multiplying the problem.

When I first learned about generational curses, I immediately realized two things: 1) that no one in my family had done anything to eradicate them (ouch), and 2) I was acting out some of the same evil behaviors that at least 3 of my past generations had displayed! That led me on a pursuit to discover and break those curses and I learned Biblically how to do that. On more than one occasion several years ago after having done some serious work to get those curses dealt with, I had dreams showing me that some of those curses were in fact being removed from me! I also knew that when they were taken from me, they also would never follow after me if God let me have my own children. I can say that I was the first and only person in my family lineage to have ever done such a thing and that I was finally being part of a long lasting solution.

Now, having dealt briefly with the negatives (which we had to do), let’s shift here and talk about the positive aspect – generational blessings.

Redeeming A Lineage

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Psalms 112:2-3 (KJV)

Over a decade ago when I began a diligent search for my true life purpose, I began to realize that no one in my family lineage (on both sides) had done what they were really put here for. As a result of that, I started asking God repeatedly that He would use me to make up for everything that my entire lineage had missed. I want to emphasize here that I’m not saying this as a judgment on my family! NO. I always loved my family very much, especially while I was growing up and generally speaking they were decent, good upstanding people. 

I am saying this because of how sad it is that anyone would live their entire life and never seriously INQUIRE of God about why they were given this one and only lifetime. We cannot measure ourselves according to our own grading standards. Any attempt to do so is a total deception, which we will pay the price for. God has ultimate standards that I spent most of my life knowing nothing about because none of the churches I ever went to actually knew anything at all!!

I also say all this because the intent of my prayer was very positive – I wanted to redeem my entire lineage by making up for what everyone had missed. I wanted to give any of my ancestors who made it to Heaven something to be proud of. I knew that by doing what no one else had done, I would be adding something to them that would be remembered forever. This was a prayer with an eternal mindset, not merely one of fleeting earthly cares.

In the last 10 years alone, I have learned more about what God has really intended for us than I ever imagined at any point in my life. God did not put any of us here to live a life based on what we see around us. We are not to measure ourselves by the hum drum status quo of our friends, work acquaintances and family, nor by what we see in our churches (which are unfortunately, beyond pathetic). God has much greater purposes for you than you would even realize and my testimony, written all over this website, is proof of that. Not to mention, I just received another shocking revelation about my purpose a couple weeks ago that goes way beyond even what I knew up to this point (as of 2025)!

If what I say sounds like an exaggeration, read my book “Marvel Dream Revelations” and you’ll see that none of us have yet lived up to anything God intended for us. What I’m saying about humanity overall is not an insult; it is a sad fact that we all must be humble enough to admit. Thankfully, as I wrote in my book, God has now been showing us the way back to all that He intended for us from the beginning of time! There is no longer any excuse for us to miss the fullness of what we were put here for!

Dreams Of Generational Blessings

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children’s children;

Psalms 103:17 (KJV)

Now that I’ve said all that, I want to briefly tell about two of my dreams where God showed me something about generational blessings from my own ancestral lineage. Both of these dealt with my mom’s side of the family and specifically, a branch of that tree that was connected to my grandmother (mother’s mother). One of them included my father and showed a connection with the overall theme.

Dream 1: In a dream around 2019, I saw one of my uncles appear as a symbol of what God had called me to as an inventor. In the dream, I was driving on a highway up a hill and I decided to take an exit into a shopping area. When I arrived, I saw my uncle and father there. I began to realize that the two family members were used as a symbol to represent myself.

In real life, my uncle earned a doctorate degree as a chemical engineer and worked as an inventor at a chemical company (DuPont). My father got a degree as an electrical engineer and he worked in that field most of his life.

Around the time of that dream, there was a real life family gathering where my uncle (from the dream) was visiting. While he told stories of his past career, he said twice that he was an “inventor”. As soon as I heard that, it hit me that I was correct about my interpretation of the dream! God was telling me that I was in fact called to be an inventor as my uncle but, that it would be in the field of electronics as it was for my father. Incidentally, the driving to the shopping area in the dream meant that I was on a search for something and randomly taking the exit off the highway validated that I had “accidentally” discovered a piece of the puzzle of who God called me to be.

Dream 2: My next dream was in 2025 and dealt exclusively with my grandmother’s side (mother’s mother). In that dream, I was in her house and I saw someone taking down a Christmas tree inside of a dimly lit, very plain looking, bare living room. In the dream, I felt it was wrong to take the tree down and that it needed to stay up. I remembered a certain family member present who has been used in the past to represent a lack of faith and unbelief in God.

As soon as I woke up from that dream, I understood the meaning. I knew God was telling me that the part of me that has a strong connection with Christmas, and the real Saint Nicholas of Patara (who is in my spiritual lineage), came from my mom’s side of the family. I also knew that He was saying that I had primarily been focusing on the negatives in that lineage (of which there were several) and I had missed the overall balance of seeing the positives as well. Because of that dream, I have now been able to understand much more about my earthly family lineage and how it factors into the big picture of my life!

Creating An Eternal Heritage

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Exodus 20:12 (KJV)

So… what’s the takeaway lesson for you here? How should you apply this in your own life? It starts by looking to see how what I wrote fits your family to some extent. Notice that I did not say “if” it fits but “how” it fits. Yes, your family is very different than mine but, there are lessons you can take from it.

Remember, for about 40 years, I did not know anything about God’s true purpose for my life (so I went diligently looking for it). I also spent those decades knowing nothing about generational curses (of which I have many more dreams I could tell!) I did break some of those and they will never be passed down to my kids. I began to realize my family had sadly missed their true potential and I wanted to make up for that. I wanted an eternity that would forever remember what I accomplished for God here in this life and that any of my ancestors who made it to Heaven could be proud to have an offspring who redeemed their lineage for eternity.

Here’s what you can do… If you do not know of anything that stands out in a positive way in your family lineage, ask God to reveal it to you. If you believe there is something missing in your lineage, ask God to create a blessing for you. One of the top ways God does this is by connecting you to a spiritual father in this life (a spiritual leader) who has gained the rank and status with God to be able to impart this to you. That is how I received what I call my “Mega Prophecy” and the knowledge of God’s true purpose for my life.

Because of how earnestly I had been searching for my true purpose, God sent a prophet to me in 2015 (actually an apostle) to answer my question about my life purpose. When I heard what he had to say, I knew it was the answer I had been looking for. That is how my dormant and hidden life purpose was “born” and it is why I have all that you see here on my website.

Remember and take action on these key points…

• God never plans any defeat in our life!
• Our families have both positive and negative in their lineages and we must deal with and acknowledge both.
• Never stay stuck focusing on the negatives (keep it all in balance).
• Whatever is missing in your family ancestry, ask God to create a lineage for you that you are unaware of (He will do it!!)
• Recovering things lost from your family requires connecting with true spiritual authority who has been given power from God to cause things to miraculously come into your life (as did I).

As with many other things you see in my life story, use it as a solid starting point and do what I have learned myself. “One person’s testimony is a prophecy for another”. This has worked for me and it will work for you, regardless of what your calling and purpose is.
