Please Note! Old Website Domain To Be Terminated (chrismichals.com)

Greetings readers! By now, you should know that earlier this year, I chose to rename my website and give it a new domain address. For 10 full years, this website address was chrismichals.com and it had undergone a couple name changes. Earlier this year, I renamed it “Supernatural Science” and registered a new domain address as you see now in your web browser URL section. At this time, I will be giving up the original domain which may cause confusion for some readers. Here is a quick announcement for all who might be wondering where my old domain went (or who the new owner might be) plus a heads up about (another) upcoming service interruption which I will briefly mention…

Out With The Old

For the past several months since registering the new supernatural-science.com domain address, I have kept both the old and new domains active for the sake of transitioning to the new one. All this time, I have tried to decide what to do with the old domain in case I wanted to re-purpose it for some other website. At this time, after many months of consideration and continued lack of funding, I have no choice but to let the old domain address (chrismichals.com) expire without renewal.

This should not cause any problems to any readers unless they are still using my old chrismichals.com address to search for my blogs. The old domain expiration will serve as another step in getting my name off the primary focus of this website but may make it harder for some people to find me online now. Personally, I think that is good but others may wonder what happened.

If that is you, no worries! All my content is still here under the new domain address: supernatural-science.com. Just make sure that you save this new address and remember to search for me under the new Supernatural Science website name. I expect this change will now last indefinitely.

404 Page Not Found?

While I am still in the very lengthy process of switching all my old blog links over to the new domain address, you may find yourself getting a “404 Error” for a page / blog not found. That will happen if you click a link from one of my older blogs that connects to another one of my older blogs. As I continue fixing the old links on all 280+ blogs, this error will eventually disappear and all my blog links will work as expected. Please do not expect all this all to be fixed quickly! I’ve been working on those old link edits for the past many months and it is not a fast process.

In summary, here is the status of this website…

Old domain: chrismichals.com – TERMINATED (October 22, 2025)
New domain: supernatural-science.com – ACTIVE.

Potential Confusion With New Owner?

NOTE: IF you should find a new website that goes by my old chrismichals.com domain address, unless I specifically state here on this website, you should assume it has been taken over and registered by someone else who has NO connection with me. That may very well cause confusion for lots of reasons but that is out of my control.

I have discovered from 10 years as a blog writer, website domain addresses are VERY hard to acquire. If you ever own a website domain and you give it up, you should assume that it will be immediately taken over by someone else. That is a problem that I have dealt with for the last many years due to the typical severe lack of personal funding. Well… that’s just how it goes.

Thank you for your attention to this website change announcement and the potential confusion it may cause!!

Website Service Plan Funding Needed $$

Last thing, in addition to the above announcement about the website domain name, I am once again also lacking necessary funding to continue the service plan through WordPress (approx $110 per year). That renewal is coming up in 2 days and as of now, I am not able to pay it.

If I cannot renew the service plan, that will cause ads that I do not agree with to pop up all over and will degrade the appearance of the entire website. That is also something I have had to put up with several times in the last 10 years and as I said above… oh well.
