By now, you should know that I began my supernatural journey with a very big hindrance. I was programmed to do only those things that my mind of the flesh came up with. Like most people, I thought that my way of rationalizing decisions was best and anything that did not make sense was akin to stupidity. Yep, that’s how I lived most of my life. So, when it came time to learning how to actually follow God in His subtle and “strange” ways of leading us, I had a very huge problem which lasted the next several years. What I found out was that God’s requirements for me in the next stage of my journey was anything but logical or rational. I want to say a few practical things about what I’ve been learning (including recently) about how God gives instructions that are inconvenient, illogical and… for your good.

Less Than 10%…

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV)

We need to talk about a mystery of creation for a minute… When Adam and Eve sinned, they died spiritually, instantly. Satan did not lie to them in saying they would “not die”. He deceived them with a partial truth. He knew they would not instantly drop dead from eating the fruit and so he only told them what he wanted them to know. In doing so, he led them to believe a partial truth which was to their demise (along with the rest of the world since that time). In the Bible, it says Adam and Eve’s eyes were opened and now they suddenly changed. What they changed into however, was not an upgrade. They brought on themselves a massive downgrade in many ways. One of those was a death of their brain’s capacity to function according to its original creation.

If you do a search online, you will now find that scientists and universities professors brilliantly claiming that the “10% brain functioning” is a “myth”. Well… leave it to intellectuals to completely miss the mark and go off into many countless errors. What they failed to do was to ask the right questions (where have we heard that before…) A brain that functions at 10% does not mean you cannot solve mathematical equations or build airplanes and rockets. That has nothing to do with it. The brain that God designed in the beginning had abilities far beyond solving equations. That brain was able to understand the higher levels of how God thinks and it was able to work marvelic supernatural miracles simply by thinking. If you read my “Marvel Dream Revelations” book, then you know all about this.

Although beyond the scope of this series, when you go through God’s 20 year ancient training process, you come out with sonship maturity and are given access to powers over the elements of creation. That means, you can perform the same kinds of miracles (on demand) that Elijah, Elisha, Moses, Joshua, Jesus and others did. Completing that 20 year process brings with it a brain resurrection that restores all 100% of your brain’s original capabilities so that you can now do things that no church or church person believes is possible. I would know because God has been showing me this in my own dreams for the last several years.

As I said, that topic is beyond the scope of this series but, because this mystery of sonship is directly correlated with what God has called me to as a global technology inventor, I must at least introduce it. It’s Not The Devil…

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

What I’m doing here is giving you the background behind why we humans are many times, at our basic level, incapable of understanding God’s instructions to us in personal ways that make no sense. We have a major flaw in our humanity that began 6,000 years ago and unless you go through the process I referred to above, you will forever be stuck in that state here on earth. I know this from my own experience because of how extremely difficult it was for me to understand what God was doing with me when He pushed me out of my former career and would NOT allow me to have any more regular jobs of any kind.

God asked many things of me and, although I did not understand most of what He expected of me, I still managed to obey. I’ve said this before but that initial part of my training was excruciating. My brain did not understand what was going on and every single day (for several years) was like a major nuclear war in my head. I had a ton of meltdowns even to the point where I would go off screaming (at God sometimes) because I could not handle the nonsensical things He required me to do. The only thing that was being proven by those times was, as it says above, God’s ways our higher than our ways and so are His thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We cannot understand why God does things and trying to require that we first understand Him before we obey is a road map to nowhere. I learned myself that if you refuse to obey God when He instructs (commands) you to do certain things in your life, all you are doing is slamming the door on everything He wanted to give you. You are becoming your own worst enemy (not the devil). Honestly, as hard as it was for me for many years, I seriously wonder some times why God didn’t just strike me down. I really was that bad. My mind could not handle anything that did not make any sense to me and God had his work cut out for Him in trying to bring me up to speed in His development program.

But.. I can say that I did NOT hold onto anger when I had those meltdowns. Yes, I got angry many times because of the lack of logic behind why God required me to live on nothing and give up almost everything I owned. But… I always repented for that and kept asking God to keep me on the path to fulfilling everything He put me here for, including to reaching full sonship maturity. I had seen far too many people throw away their lives not discovering or living up to one single thing God put them here for and I was determined that no matter how hard this process was, I was going to fulfill my entire purpose.

So, let’s stop and ask a few questions here, shall we? You know enough of my story to understand what God requires of us if we really want to fulfill His plan for our lives. You also know that the plans you came up with in your life are pathetically sad in comparison to what He put you here for. Unless you go through the process I have described from my experience, you are going to live your entire life on the sidelines doing absolutely nothing you were designed for. I’ve explained what my life plans were and how infinitely far they were from God’s plans.

Have you ever seriously confronted yourself and asked the right questions about your existence? Have you ever asked God why He put you here and what He expects of you? Have you ever asked Him straightforwardly where you would spend eternity if you died right now, today?? From experience, I have seen the proof that most people have never asked any of those questions and instead, made a list of false, convenient assumptions (because they already know the truth and are too afraid of the answers).

Simple, Practical Advice (from experience)

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Now that we got the basic foundational matters out of the way, I want to give you a few simple solutions to how to follow (obey) God when He makes the least sense to you. I want to tell you that, lest you think I have become an expert in all this, something just came up the other day that required me to remind myself of all that I’ve written here.

In the last few weeks, God has been giving me and my wife instructions that were very inconvenient and put us at odds with certain people. I had to decide if I was going to obey Him or, due to fear of man, disobey Him and instead do what certain people expected of us. Because of the very austere conditions God required us to live in, this was not so simple a problem. I really had to fight with this one because I knew that, if I obeyed God’s instructions, it was going to cause a problem that had been increasing for many months now. I had to learn a new level of faith (or rather, trust), that if I did what He said, He would also take care of the negative consequences. I had to focus on the truth that I need to only fear Him, not any human.

Let’s think about something here… we all love stories of faith until we have to live them. They all sound so wonderful and romantic until we are the one having to go through those very unpleasant and negative situations. That’s usually where you find out how few people ever actually obey God beyond lip service (very, very few).

So… what do you do when God confronts you with an instruction that you will either pass or fail? Among many tips that can help you in this are are these…

• The 10% brain is a fact of creation since the time of Adam and Eve (despite what ignorant scientists and university professors tell you).
• Because we lost most of our brain’s capabilities (including marvelic supernatural abilities), we are incapable of understanding God’s higher ways.
• When God gives you an instruction (a command), it may very likely not make any sense and may put you in conflict with others.
• You must remember to fear God, not man; you will stand in front of God at judgment day, no man will be there to judge or support you.
• God has a way of developing us in our faith such that we must go through increasingly difficult situations which, in turn cause us to increase our faith to very high levels.
• As we make a habit of obeying God in these confusing times, we earn status with Him that equals or exceeds the great men in the Bible.
• When you continue a pattern of passing tests with God, He will begin showing you what you have received in return; some of those rewards are astounding and will show up here in this lifetime.

I can guarantee you that God may rarely tell you up front WHY He requires certain things of you. In fact, it may be months or years before He tells you why you had to obey certain illogical instructions. Been there. Faith, trust and obedience requires blind faith – including the kind that puts you in conflict with 10% mind-of-the-flesh humans.

The above list is really only a starting point and I have said much about this in all my other episodes, blogs, books, etc. This is not a complete list by any means but, will get you thinking in ways you may not have before. If you go through the process God requires you to walk through, you WILL develop past all intellectual barriers. You WILL begin to understand God’s higher ways and you will begin seeing things spiritually, not according to the extremely limited 10% mind of the flesh.

You will come out a very different person than you started and you will develop in ways you never imagined possible. That’s what happened to me and I know it will work for you as well.
