A Divine Detective Assignment

Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:

Are you a mystery movie fan? I never used to be but, in the last few years, I’ve come to like them very much. You can learn so much from their plot development and forensic deductions. Sure, most of them are fiction but, there’s plenty of truth there. Humans are somewhat predictable – we imagine fictional plots in the same way we would live them out in many cases. The higher the stakes, the more elaborate and deceptive the plot is.

Several years ago, when I began my study of interpreting dreams, a girl with an astonishingly accurate prophetic gift told me I was like a Sherlock Holmes. She said (without knowing me at all) that I took things apart, examined them and put them back together again to solve mysteries. I didn’t realize it at the time but, that was one of many skills God was beginning to develop in me.

Initially, my assignment was to develop the basic ability to decode the meaning of dreams. It wasn’t long after I began working on that, that I was then handed a scientific mystery to unravel (a series of dreams leading to an invention). When the appointed time came, I was handed another mystery but, this time of a very different kind. I was thrown into a situation that was very confusing but, little did I know, God had already been showing me in partial clues, the truth about what was really going on from the beginning.

God Reveals The Secret Plots Of Men

But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;

Perhaps you didn’t know but, God uses dreams and other prophetic gifts to reveal secrets, especially in the area of unsolved mysteries. Some of those secrets may be the evil plans others are concocting against you! I have begun a new blog series called, “Sherloque Benoit, Supernatural Detective” where I will be dealing with various cases that require serious investigative work to reveal the truth behind plots of deception, obstruction, lies, scandals and all the rest.

One specific case, in which our hero detective found himself, became the inspiration to begin this new series. If you are a fan of mysteries and detective stories, you might find this series enlightening, especially to see how God reveals the secrets that others actively try to conceal.
