In this continuation from my new 3-part series, I’m focusing today on a dream that showed the price we must pay for receiving marvelic supernatural abilities. This is something I did not know about until my dreams pointed me back to the resource I highlighted in part 1. If you’re wondering what it takes for God to use you in marvelic supernatural abilities, this post should help clarify that and in some ways, simplify the whole subject.

Dream: Paying The Price For Working Marvels

January 9, 2024 – the Greatest American Hero [1981 TV show] is wearing his red suit but it starts changing. It first turns into a gold color in the form of a dress with women’s breasts. It then turns to shiny silvery color and back to the form of a man again but now more muscular. His powers were now greatly increased and he had a funny expression as he was thinking, “I wonder what I can do with this now.”

Here are the primary symbols explained…

• Greatest American Hero = a 1981 TV show about a superhero who was very humble and clumsy, a personal reference to me due to my own childhood when I watched the show every week, represents literal marvel superpowers and one chosen to receive God-given abilities to create answers to earth’s problems, (see entire 1981 TV series playlist here).
• Old TV show = a reference to the ancient things of God, particularly marvelic supernatural powers that have not been seen on earth in thousands of years.
• Breasts = (woman) refers to meeting the needs of others, which is God’s reason for giving superpowers to people whom He chooses (see additional online symbols explanation here).
• Woman = the characteristics of a woman regarding the ability to birth something new, both spiritually and naturally; to care for and to help / serve others.
• Gold = refers to being refined in character by very negative and unpleasant circumstances, also symbolizes glory, honor and the type of heart which is very valuable to God (in terms of character traits).
• Silver = (shiny) refers to understanding, knowledge, purity, redemption, cleansed and ready for use, and something very precious to God; from the furnace of adversity / extremely unpleasant circumstances (see additional online symbols explanation here).
• Metallic = strength increased for supernatural powers (in this context), ability to handle situations with increased difficulty.

Short and simple interpretation: the meaning of this dream is that, having gone through additional extremely unpleasant circumstances during the last couple years, God has greatly increased my own marvelic supernatural abilities.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Investigating & Interpreting the Metallic Suit

After considering the meaning of the “2 ornaments dream” from the part 1, I began to realize I was missing something in the interpretation of this dream. As I considered this again, I began to think how a transition from gold (the dress) to silver would represent a downgrade and as a result, the metallic suit was probably not made of silver. When you look at both platinum and silver, there is a slight difference in the color and appearance of each. What I mean is, they have a distinction that sets them apart but, only if you look at them closely.

Having said that, can I infer that this metal is the same as in the last dream (platinum)? Not necessarily. Rather than force an interpretation and make the dream say what I want it to say, let me rather just leave it at the simple level. Consider the meaning of gold and then the meaning of an unknown metallic substance which is connected with the larger muscles and the increased strength. We can conclude simply that, the new appearance of the suit is exactly as it looks – our superhero now has greatly increased powers and this represents his ability to perform supernatural marvels. And… that person is, again, a representation of me.

I do believe there is something within the meaning of platinum which can carry over here regardless of the fact it was uncertain. The metal had a shiny appearance and had the feel of it being “incorruptible“. If you are a superhero, that is obviously a very important character trait! Looking again at the platinum heart, we see that it does carry the characteristic of “incorruptibility”, based on 1 Pet 3: 4, which I explained in detail in part 1 of this blog. So, regardless of what type metal it really is, we now can have confidence that there is a crossover similarity between the meaning of this dream and the “2 ornaments dream” from last time.

New Insights About Developing Marvel Powers

In the updated version of my “Marvel Dream Revelations” ebook (in progress), I am giving new insights into what I have learned about developing marvelic abilities based on the dreams in both part 1 and 2 of this blog series. After considering the meaning of both of these dreams, and studying much more extensively the book by David E. Taylor (see below), I began to gain a whole new understanding of what it takes to develop supernatural marvelic abilities. The discussion of that is what will make up most of the new additions to version 1.4 of my ebook.

In short, gaining the ability to work marvels requires developing the right heart. It is, in some cases, less about supernatural exercises than it is about the heart. As you see in my Greatest American Hero dream today, character development is of prime importance to God when He looks for people to give these abilities to. There are things you can get done much faster by focusing on obtaining the right hearts rather than any other effort! That is what you will find me elaborating on much more in the new version 1.4 of my Marvel Dream Revelations ebook. Watch for an announcement for the release of the updated version very soon.

The Greatest American Hero TV Series

In the last several years, God has used this 1981 TV show character as an illustration of both marvel supernatural powers and the process by which I learned to walk out a major life calling and purpose. If you watch a few episodes in the 3 seasons linked below, you will begin to see why God highlighted this series in previous dreams and as an overall life experience parable for me.
