My Artificial Intelligence Policy
Last updated: April 2026
I am currently in the process of experimenting with multiple artificial intelligence models for various purposes here on my website. As I work through my process of checking out all the features of several popular models, this policy will undoubtedly change. As it looks right now, my primary uses of AI will be for website administrative functions, written content review, drafting new blog/page ideas, and editing of my writing. Basically, AI will be serving as an associate editor/contributor to much of what I post here. Having said that, there are things that AI will NOT be used for – that is what I want to tell you a little about here.
Except where otherwise specified, Artificial Intelligence is occasionally used for the research, consolidation, organization, editing or other administrative functions here on my website. At times, AI may also be used to produce draft content ideas which I then consider for my own writing. At NO time is AI allowed to autonomously create and post blogs or pages on this website.
I am the sole author of all content posted here on this website. Occasionally, you will see direct quotes from AI included in my blogs for the purpose of including information from external sources. All AI-generated content will be formally cited as I would for any other source.
To be transparent with my readers, here is a breakdown of how AI tools may and may not be involved in this site:
AI May Be Used For
- Research assistance — Helping gather background information, summarize sources, or identify relevant topics for further exploration.
- Organization and consolidation — Structuring notes, outlines, or reference material before I begin writing.
- Editing support — Suggesting grammar improvements, rephrasing for clarity, or proofreading drafts I have already written.
- Draft idea generation — Proposing angles, headlines, or content ideas that I review and either adopt, adapt, or discard entirely.
- Administrative tasks — Formatting, metadata, categorization, SEO, content review and assessment and other behind-the-scenes functions.
AI Is Never Used To:
- Autonomously write and publish content — No AI tool has permission to independently create and post articles, blog entries, or pages on this site.
- Replace my voice or perspective — All opinions, conclusions, and narrative choices are my own.
- Fabricate facts or sources — Any factual claims on this site reflect my own research and judgment, not AI-generated assertions taken at face value.
Always remember that artificial intelligence is subject to errors such as “hallucinating” where it creates information that is either mistaken or just plain false. Some AI models have been caught promoting biased and misleading views. Despite the negatives that have been associated with with AI, I generally tend to focus on its positive applications while not being naive to its potential problems.
The AI Disclosure Note
On any blog post or page where AI tools played a role in its creation, you will find the following note:

The presence of this note indicates the limited use of Artificial Intelligence in the creation of this blog / page. Find out more about how AI is and is NOT used here on this website:
This is my commitment to honesty with my readers. Even when AI plays only a small supporting role, I believe you deserve to know about it.
My Commitment to You
This website reflects my genuine curiosity, research, and perspective on the subjects I write about. AI is a tool — one I use selectively and responsibly — but it does not write for me, think for me, or publish for me. Every word that goes live on this site has passed through my own judgment and reflects my own standards.
